DCA

What is Bitcoin DCA?

Dollar-cost averaging means investing the same amount on a regular schedule without trying to predict the best buying day. A fixed amount buys more Bitcoin when the price is lower and less when it is higher. This may smooth the average entry price, but it does not remove volatility or the risk of loss.

Daily, weekly, or monthly?

When the amount per purchase stays the same, frequency changes both the number of purchases and total invested. Adjust each purchase to your budget when comparing plans. More frequent real purchases may also create more fees; this simulation does not include them.

Quick questions

Are fees and taxes included?

No. Fees, spreads, exchange rates, and taxes vary by platform and country and may reduce real results.

Which Bitcoin price is used?

We use the Coinbase daily BTC/USD close and reference exchange rates to convert each date into the local currency.

Is this a forecast?

No. The calculator replays recurring purchases with historical prices and does not estimate future prices.

Does DCA guarantee a profit?

No. DCA spreads purchases over time, but Bitcoin remains volatile and the value can fall below the amount invested.

How this calculator works

The simulation replays purchases on your selected dates using historical daily BTC closing prices. It describes a past scenario and is not a forecast.

1. Bitcoin per purchase

Purchase amount ÷ BTC price on that date.

2. Bitcoin accumulated

The sum of BTC acquired across every purchase.

3. Final value

Accumulated BTC × BTC price on the end date.
